Sarah Weidman has over ten years of outpatient orthopedic experience in the Chicagoland area. Her passion is to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. A lifelong athlete who has competed in a range of sports from gymnastics to soccer as well as running marathons, she understands the rigors of a training program and the determination to stay on track.

Sarah is dedicated to cultivating a supportive office environment that helps patients better understand their health. She believes in arming you with the tools necessary to both recover and prevent future injuries.

When away from the office, Sarah can be found with her family running along the lakefront or enjoying her other passion – Chicago’s fantastic food scene.

Our Staff

Shari De Boer

Physical Therapist

Shari De Boer PT, DPT is passionate about helping her patients through their stages of physical recovery and finds her career as a physical therapist to be both rewarding and fun. Shari brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her fifteen plus years of experience in physical rehabilitation, with the past 11 years in an outpatient orthopedic setting. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Athletic Training in 2003 from Elmhurst College and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006 from Midwestern University. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, post surgical, tendonitis, and work related injuries. She is also certified to perform Astym therapy which is a soft tissue technique used to treat plantar fasciitis and chronic tendonitis, as well as chronic inflammation.
When Shari is not in the clinic, she enjoys staying active by riding her bike along the lakefront trail, or playing softball. She is also a loyal Cubs fan and enjoys attending games, as well as practicing her hobby, photography.

Erin Conroy

Physical Therapist

Erin Conroy PT, DPT, CSCS is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience in a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological settings. Erin earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan in 2011 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University in 2014. In addition to her training in orthopedics, sports medicine, and post-operative rehab, Erin is trained in Vestibular Rehab, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and earned her Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) from the Gray Institute. She has also enjoyed paying it forward by serving as a Clinical Instructor for DPT students and was honored by the DPT faculty at the University of Illinois at Chicago with their 2017 SK Campbell Award for Excellence in Clinical Instruction.
As a Physical Therapist and fitness professional, Erin’s goal is to empower you to move, feel, and perform better through an individualized treatment program catered towards your specific goals. Her mission is to not only help you feel better but to also give you the tools to take on your everyday physical challenges without limitations.
When Erin is not working, she is perfecting the handstand, mentoring for LaunchU, staying active with friends, finding her next favorite podcast, and counting down the days until ski and snowboard season.

Thomas McCallister

Clinic Manager/PT Technician

Thomas McCallister is West Town’s Clinical Manager and primary Technician. He is currently attending Malcolm X College, where he is pursuing his license to become a Physical Therapy Assistant and certified Personal Trainer. Thomas facilitates in leading patients through therapeutic procedures and handles administrative operations that encompasses all patient care.
In his free time, Thomas enjoys being active outdoors and wandering the city. He is an avid drawer and appreciates art in all its forms. Go Dawgs!

Theresa Del Valle

Administrative Assistant

Theresa has worked as a receptionist with physical therapists for over 25 years and says, her favorite part of the job is “interacting with the patients and the camaraderie with co-workers.” In her free time, Theresa enjoys reading and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Chris Patterson

Outreach Coordinator

Chris is a health and wellness enthusiast who studied Preventative and Rehabilitative Health Fitness at Central Michigan University. Serving as the Outreach Coordinator for West Town, Chris acts as a liaison between doctors and local community organizations to better serve the needs of West Town’s patients. In his free time, Chris enjoys working out, traveling, and spoiling his two nieces.
